Dial Park Redevelopment – Final Concept Design Revealed

Central Coast Council is pleased to share the final concept design for Stage 1 of the Dial Park Redevelopment in Penguin.

Stage 1 focuses on developing concept designs only to guide future investment and planning. These designs show how Dial Park could be upgraded to Tier 4 AFL standard, supporting high-level football while continuing to serve the local community.

The concept design includes:

  • Expanded spectator seating and improved viewing areas
  • Upgraded player, umpire and medical facilities
  • New media and broadcast infrastructure to support elite matches
  • Improved access, circulation and amenities for spectators
  • Enhanced spaces that can be used for community sport and events

The designs have been prepared by Licht Architecture, led by former Penguin local Jason Licht, in partnership with Chalmers Sports Architecture, who have worked on major sporting venues in Australia and internationally.

Funding for the project has been provided by the Tasmanian Government, with Council overseeing the design process. Any future stages, including detailed design and construction, will be subject to further planning, funding and approvals.
