Dino is getting ready for his next adventure

Our much-loved Dino has temporarily left the playground for a little care and attention.

You might notice he has a few bandages on for now — but don’t worry, Dino has not gone for good. He will be returning to the park as part of a new toddler play area, delivered through Council’s Open Space Plan.

Dino has been a familiar favourite for many local families, and we know how special these playground characters can become. The new toddler play area will give Dino a refreshed home and create a safer, more welcoming space for our littlest explorers to play.

Council’s Open Space Plan guides how we look after and improve parks, playgrounds and open spaces across Central Coast. It helps make sure these spaces continue to be safe, accessible and fun for families now and into the future.

We know Dino will be missed while he is away, and we thank the community for your patience while he gets patched up and ready for his next chapter.
