Project Background

In October 2022, significant flooding and storm damage impacted infrastructure across our region, with Lowana Road being particularly affected by landslips, creating safety risks.

To address this, Council completed rectification works on Lowana Road to stabilise the damaged slope and prevent further impacts.

This is the tenth and final project as part of Council’s $1M+ commitment to storm recovery under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) following the 2022 storm event.
