Council is planning for the future of the East Ulverstone Industrial Precinct by looking at options to expand onto Council-owned land at 21 Maskells Road.

The Central Coast is running out of available industrial land. A recent industrial land study shows we have less than two years’ supply remaining. Without more space, local businesses can’t grow and new businesses may go elsewhere. This project is about supporting jobs, investment and a strong local economy while making sure development is well planned and respectful of the surrounding area.

This is not a development proposal and will still undergo formal planning approval, including public exhibition and independent assessment. Feedback will help refine proposed planning controls before a scheme amendment is lodged.

How can the community influence this project?

Your feedback will help shape:

  • The design and layout of the site
  • Landscaping and visual screening
  • Environmental protections and stormwater management
  • The types of activities that may be allowed

Your feedback will help shape the final planning controls before the amendment is lodged.

How can the community engage or find more information?

The easiest way to get involved is through this project page, where you will be able to view project information and maps and complete the online survey.

You can also visit the Ulverstone Administration Centre from the 3rd of March to view plans, speak with staff and get assistance with the survey.
