Central Coast Council has prepared a new Master Plan for Memorial Park (Ulverstone Lawn Cemetery) to help guide how the site will be managed, improved and cared for over the coming years.

The Master Plan identifies a staged approach to future improvements, with priority works planned in the short term and further upgrades to be delivered over the medium and long term as funding becomes available.

The first stage focuses on upgrades to Allens Road, with the aim of improving safety, visibility and long-term functionality.

Works commencing 13 April 2026:

• Road widening and landscaping changes to improve corner visibility and create a safer road environment
• Footpath improvements and better connections for hearses and pedestrians
• A proposed reduction in the speed limit
• Limited removal and replacement of some trees and hedges
• Planting of more suitable species where existing vegetation creates visibility concerns or poses a risk of root intrusion into graves
